Eva Goncalves Hi Eva When I first saw them,I likened them to open Easter eggs. They are such decorative little bugs and do look like Christmas tree decorations too.I do believe that they are used as brooches in some countries!! XXXX
Breathtaking I'm not sick but I'm very lack of time. I get off work too late and when I finish the housework is bedtime. Over the weekend I am dedicated to my animals, dogs and horses, to the garden, walking in nature and time flies. I think animals need a lot of our attention and we have the peace that nature gives us. When I'm between them nothing makes me lose the rest. I have many subjects and pictures to your blog but time flies and I can not publish. Thank you for your concern. In this blog we find wonderful pictures that make me feel huge miss my little corner of the North. During the week living in the city, away from my love. This photo is very beautiful.
These tiny jewels are BREATHTAKING! Whoa, very nice photographs as usual. Never know what I will see when I visit you. You must sit and wait, as I have done for those special things to appear for macro.
Hi Janie Glad you came to visit,a good sign that you are feeling better!I do sit and wait for some things, but this was a happy coincidence.I went to collect some herbs from the garden, and there they were!!
I saw beetles like this in a small village near Avignon when on holiday a couple of years ago. Our beetles here in Australia have vibrant colours, but nothing like this.

You were also lucky to see the Graphosoma italicum in France two years ago!!
I have lived here for over 50yrs and have only
seen the graphosoma ilalicum 3 times, and the
C Cerealis, when I took the photo!!
