Hello dear friends and fellow blogger This is an update to let you know that the surgery went well, and I am feeling relieved and thankful that it is all over. My third visit to the surgeon is tomorrow Monday the 25th when I should have more news to impart. Pedro has been putting drops in my eyes, It's a procedure which all together takes 40 minutes out of your day, but a vital part of your recovery. I have not yet taken any photos, so am sharing a sketch I made of my son's beautiful Malamute dog, Wolfie. She was gemtle and playful and is greatly missed by my son Marco Paulo, and my daughter-in-law Paula. I will be back to blogging soon.

Hello, Sonjia. I am very pleased to hear that the surgery went well and that laser vision is now within reach! I remember all those drops - it was worse than the operation! As I remember it they kept getting less, so soon you will be clear of them. The sketch you made is fantastic. Unless I missed something along the way I had no idea that you had this incredible aptitude. I am now wondering if you have done any of birds. If so, I would love to see them. Keep getting better. The expression, “See you soon,” will soon take on a whole new significance. Hugs and kisses - David

Good news that the surgery is over an you're doing well. I have another foot surgery this summer. But luckily I only have two feet and I'll be done.

Dear Sonjia, I want to thank you so much for your condolences and kind words, which you wrote to me despite the fact that you were still having trouble seeing. I hope your eyes are much better now and that they're no longer watering uncomfortably!

So glad to hear the surgery went well! Eye drops that take 40 minutes out of your day sounds incredibly tedious, but it's awesome that Pedro is stepping up to help you handle it so you can heal properly. Take all the time you need to rest before worrying about getting back to full-time blogging.
