THE RED SQUIRREL_

The Red Squirrel and the not so red ones visit my balcony every day. They eat all the different kinds of food I place at the feeding station. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner at my restaurant. It's strange but even the birds eat at regular intervals just like we do. After breakfast there's a lull until lunch, and I forgot about tea time when they start to appear again, then another lull until the sun starts going down, when they fly in for their last meal of the day. Today I have a few squirrel photos to share with you.

I will be linking up to Saturday's Critters.

Dear Sonjia :)
Your photos are very beautiful. You are very talented. The squirrels are so cute and pretty.
I agree with you. The birds don't eat all the time. Maybe they rest a while, and then eat more.
Many warm hugs to you my dear friend!

Wunderschöne Bilder. Das Eichhörnchen wirkt sehr zutraulich. Ich sehe, du fütterst auch Mehlwürmer. Ich habe dieses Jahr damit angefangen. Alle Vögel mögen sie.
Viele Grüße Anette

The photos are so beautiful, what a cute little face that squirrel has! Adorable.

It's interesting that birds keep to a schedule. I didn't know that.

Have a nice weekend!

Your red squirrel photos are delightful Sonjia, such a cute little one. He looks a young one. I often wonder how old the squirrels are when I see them in my back yard.

Dear Sonjia,
What wonderful photos of the squirrel.
I love these cute little creatures so much, they don't occur here where I live, and that is such a shame.
I wish you a wonderful weekend.
All the best, Irma

Squirrel No. 1 - Where do you want to go for breakfast today? And lunch, dinner and a few snacks in between?
Squirrel No. 2 - To Sonjia’s Place, of course. Is there really anywhere else to even consider?
Squirrel No. 1 - You are right! The service is great, there’s always ample food, and the selection restricted to exactly what we like.
Squirrel No. 2 - And the other diners are always birds, and they never bother us.
Squirrel No. 1 - So Sonjia’s it is then. Let me lick my fur and smooth my whiskers and I’ll be right with you.
Both squirrels in unison: Hooray for Sonjia!

How cute is this little squirrel! My son had a pet squirrel once. That's a story in all of its own. I photograph mainly people and everyday things. Wildlife is intriguing. However, not sure of the equipment it requires. I am sure some sort of telephoto lens and tripod? I host a My Sunday Snapshot LinkUp Party. You are invited to share your link! Recent link parties is found on the homepage-

Your guests are welcome as well!

Awwww... looks like "my Peanut" whom I haven´t seen in a while, sadly. She brought her kids up and taught them climbing on my balcony... She looked just like that!
