Hello everyone,:)
Recently I had an appointment at the ophthalmogist, as my eye sight has become increasingly worse during these last few weeks. I already knew that I had macular degeneration because I was told this on my last appointment, Eva told me that I didn't get any of the large letters correct. but now I have an eye infection and have to use an antibiotic cream twice daily in each eye which means my vision is blurry most of the time. The photos I am going to share were taken in September as I can't focus well enough to take any photos until fifteen days have passed when the cream finishes, but this will give me time to visit your blogs, even if I just write a short comment. There are quite a few images, because the great-tit stayed in the same place for a long time whilst she preened her feathers. This was difficult to write but this new computer has large letters which helped enormously

I hope the treatment helps once completed. I have never seen one of those birds. It looks like the size of the chickadees here.
Dear friend, your photos are absolutely stunning and have brought me much joy!
Love great tit! Now hardly hear or see any of them at this time of the year.
Dear Sonjia :)
I hope your eyesight will get much better soon. Your photographs are as always so beautiful. You have "captured" the Great-Tit so well, and it is a beautiful bird. I have a lot of them here in my garden.
All the best to you!
Many warm hugs.
Marit
Hi Sonjia, I am sorry to hear about your eye infection. I hope it clears up soon and your eyesight improves. It looks as though your Great Tit has found a lovely spot for a preen! At long last we are having some rain here. I normally wouldn't be so keen on it, but the ground has been very dry for a few months, so we really need it!
Get well soon! I hope the medication helps.
The photos are adorable.
Beautiful photos and I do hope the treatment helps.
I was sorry to read about your eye infection but I am sure that with the antibiotic cream it will clear up soon.
I did enjoy seeing your lovely photographs of the Great-Tit.
Thank you.
Sending my good wishes to you.
All the best Jan
Dear Sonjia, I am so very sorry you are having your eye health problem. I wish you a very speedy recovery. Your photos are delightful!
It is not good news for any of us, Sonjia, most of all, you, that you are having trouble with your eyes, which gets in the way of communication with your blogger friends. It’s one of the issues that comes with aging, I suppose, but I hope that something can be done about it, so that we can continue to have our always charming discourse. Great series of pictures of the Great Tit. What a lovely bird it is. And so accessible and cooperative. Take good care and stay in touch as best you can. Hugs and kisses - David
Dear Sonjia,
You took beautiful photos of the great tit.
I hope your eyesight improves soon.
An eye disease isn't fun; I know all about it.
I have glaucoma and have lost my side vision, I always have to turn my head to see something to the side.
I wish you a beautiful Wednesday.
Best regards Irma
I am so sorry about your eye issues. I've had cataract surgery, but still have floaters. Crazy times.
I hope your eyes heal fast. Beautiful photos.
I've never seen this bird and thanks to your wonderful photos, now I'll know how to recognize it if I see it! Very good luck with your eyes.

How nice of the Great Tit to pose so well for you, Sonjia. I hope the treatment helps.
Great pictures of the bird! I’m sorry to hear about your eye troubles. I’ve been through a a bunch of eye problems myself. I am glad that my iPad can provide a larger image easily for both pictures and print. That helps especially when my eyes get tired.
The series of photos are lovely!
Best wishes for a quick recovery.
beautiful captures of this tiny, adorable bird!! i hope you seek out a good specialist and that he or she can help you regain the little vision you have lost. my mom has macular degeneration and i use to take her for shots in her eyes. there are 2 kinds, wet and dry...i don't know which you have or if the shots would help you. warm thoughts and wishes for you...enjoy your sunday!!
Deseo que hayas mejorado de tus ojos. El reportaje te quedó muy bien. Besos.
