On Saturday my Grandson Pedro arrived to spend a couple of months with me. We had a lovely weekend with Eva as well. It's such a pleasure to have Pedro staying with me and we have plenty of fun together. It's a good time to take a break from blogging for a while, so this will be my last post before we meet again in blog land. Rain has spoilt a lot of my garden flowers, yes we are still getting wet weather, but although my camellias and azaleas are past their best I took a couple of photos of each, as Pedro and I took a turn round the garden, and then to the hedge near the garage where the hawthorn is in full bloom in all it's glory. The hedge just looked like it was covered in snow. To finish a couple of birds I saw on Saturday.
I think that I took the photos a little too near to get the flowers in focus, but they are still pretty.
The pink weigelia have finished blooming but the white still have some flowers and new buds to open.
Most of my roses are under the porch and protected from the months of rain we have been having.

Dear Sonjia :)
There are some wonderful pictures you show! Your camellias are my favorites today. The first one you show is very beautiful, and the others are also so nice. Lovely roses too. Incredibly beautiful pictures of the birds.
I wish you a nice summer together with Pedro. I hope that the weather changes and you get less rain. You can send the rain to me, because it is very dry here.
I send you many warm sunshine hugs!
Marit

Dear Sonjia,
What beautiful flowers you have in your garden.
Too bad about the rain, it's still bone dry here, it hasn't rained for a few months.
I wish you a nice blog break.
Greetings Irma

Have a wonderful summer, bathe in the warm aura of family love, and embrace every little part of nature you have a chance to explore. We will all be anxiously awaiting your return. Todo me gusta mucho, las flores y los pajaritos. Disfruta con tu nieto ¡ ya nos contaras ! Abrazos para los dos.
Always a treat of delicious photos when I visit your blog. Will miss you, but you're always so happy to see your grandson, the months will probably fly by too soon.
Viola
Sonjia, your flowers are perfect and your bird photos worthy of a prize! And the best news of all is that you are enjoying a visit with your grandson! wonderful news. enjoy your special time...we will be here when you come back!!
Such a wealth of flowers in your garden. It must be lovely walking amongst them and smelling their scents. It has been such a strange year for weather. So much rain in southern Europe, yet in Scotland we have been basking in sun for weeks! It is normally so unusual to have a whole day of sun, yet along several days in a row! We are now at the stage of really needing it to rain, as the ground is so dry. Luckily it is forecast to rain on Saturday. I hope you have a lovely couple of months with Pedro. I look forward to reading about what you have been up to!!
Dear Sonjia,
Your photos are, as always, a true delight — even the rain couldn’t wash away the beauty of your garden! The camellias and azaleas still look lovely, and that snowy hawthorn hedge is simply breathtaking. The cute birds were a charming final touch!
How wonderful that Pedro is staying with you — it sounds like a joyful and special time, and I’m so glad you’re able to enjoy it together. I’ll certainly miss your posts, but I wish you a peaceful and happy blog break filled with laughter, nature, and precious family moments.
Take good care, and I’m already looking forward to your return.
Warmest wishes and hugs,
