SPRING BIRDS, SQUIRREL, and FLOWERS.

I would just like to say a big thank you to all who left your warm heart felt condolences. It was so moving to read your comments and know that my dear blog friends are every bit as important and precious to me as my ever decreasing college friends are. You are are all valued for your kindness and your passions that you share by blogging and I am glad to have made the decision to return to blogging as each one of you has helped me feel better.

The Spring weather has been temperamental to say the least. In one day  sun can shine for a while, even blue skies can be seen with not a cloud in sight, followed by sheets of rain, hailstones, thunder and lightening with foreboding dark clouds.  One day I could not close the car door as high velocity wind prevented me from doing so.  Spring  has sprung, buds and flowers emerge, some are damaged by the heavy rainfall, especially some  Azaleas as they wilt and fall to the ground, however the rain has encouraged new growth and I have noticed that the grass is greening up and new buds and leaves are appearing on the trees. Jays and Will are frequent visitors.

Hello Sonjia,
I hope your leg is on the mend and you are able to get out and about more.
The weather has been terrible here, too. High winds earlier in the year brought down some lovely old trees and there last few days we have had continuous heavy rain. I can hear the stream raging past the house through the double glazing!
Lovely to see your pictures and I am so pleased you are continuing to blog!
Nick

What a beautiful series of photos.
Here too it is not really spring yet, still cold and lots of rain.
They say that next Saturday it will suddenly rise above 20 degrees Celsius and then on Sunday the temperature will be 10 degrees Celsius lower again.
The Jay is beautiful, but I also think the Woodpecker and the Blue tit are very beautiful.
Greetings Irma

Dear Sonjia,
It sounds like you have a lot of different weather, and that's how it is here too. Sunny and fine weather one day, and frost and snow the next.
Your photos are always so beautiful! The blue tit is so cute. It is my favorite bird here along with the woodpecker. There are also such beautiful flowers you show. I hope that you are doing well and that you get through the grief.
Warm hugs!

Hello Sonjia,
What a lovely post, Spring is a favorite time of the year. The flowers are beautiful and I love seeing all your garden birds. The Jay is one of my favorites, along with the pretty woodpecker. Cute captures of the adorable Blue Tit. Lovely collection of photos. Take care, enjoy your day!

It is redundant to say, of course, Sonjia, that we cannot control the weather. And on balance that’s a good thing. But even in bad weather there is often joy. In November, here in southern Ontario, when the winds are telling us that winter is about to descend upon us once again, the Golden Eagles migrate from the north, and we are treated to the breathtaking spectacle of these magnificent raptors carving up the sky as though it were their own, and cutting through winds that make mere humans tremble, with the ease of a hot knife going through butter. If a bad day or two keeps you indoors, and you use that time to get in touch with us it has all been a blessing. With love and best wishes to you, Will and all the birds are other creatures that fill your life with joy - as you do ours. David

Dearest Sonjia, I am so pleased that, in spite of your recent losses, your less than good health, and wet windy weather, you have managed to keep yourself motivated and present us with these gorgeous images of spring. I wish that I was able to find such a fabulous assortment of wildlife to photograph.

I am sorry for my late visit - things have been a bit crazy here, but with no great problems, I'm pleased to say.

Take good care - - - Richard

Hello Sonjia,
Our weather is much the same here, rainy cloudy days with a few bits of sunshine mixed in. I do love seeing your beautiful garden birds and the flowers. The Jay and Woodpeckers are favorites, along with the cute Blue Tit and is that a Greenfinch. Lovely collection of photos. I am always happy to see an update from you, stay well! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, enjoy your day and happy weekend.

Lovely shots! Weather is so temperamental, particularly nowadays it seems. Sometimes I wonder where the birds go during high winds. Some stronger ones ride the storm and others hide I suppose.

I am sorry for your losses.
I, too, luckily had the same experience when Ingo was so severly sick - blogger-community is there!
Big hugs to you, if a bit late.
You are a great photographer - and you already have bees?

So very glad you are feeling better Sonjia. These sad happenings in our lives do take it out of us, but there will always be those around us who will lift our spirits. Family yes but blogging friends also. People can be so very caring of others, I have found this myself. Thank you for another wonderful post with all your amazing photos! May April and the rest of the year bring you back to good health and joy.

The detail in your photos is so precise that these should all be in a nature book of beautiful birds. I don't know the names of all these but I love every single one!
