THE ROBIN RED BREAST.

As you can imagine, I haven't had much time to get together a varied post, so here are a few photos of the European Robin or the Robin Red Breast which visits my balcony every day. Next week I should have accumulated enough photos to make a more diverse wild life post, but I hope you enjoy this one, as it is one of my favourite birds.

So sorry for the delay in visiting, but I should catch up this week.

I hope that things are continuing to improve for you.

Hello Sonjia,

I was able to see them on my Ireland trip. Your photos are adorable, great captures of this sweet bird. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.

Good morning, Sonjia, Princess of Portugal, Ruler of the Balcony, Champion of the Birds. How lucky we all are that you bring us more images of this little red-breasted beauty. How could one ever tire of seeing them? How does perfection ever become dull?
And such skill you have as you wield the camera, capturing every nuance of this perky little creature who brings joy around the world and lends its image to Christmas cards with never a penny of royalty. Sonjia and Robin to start my day - it doesn’t get any better than that. Giant hugs and big kisses - David

Dearest Sonjia,
it was wonderful to see your robin photos! I also love these little birds very much, and I only see them here very, very rarely. I can never take useful photos of them - while your robin-images are so adorable!

I also discovered your woodpecker photos today and enjoyed them. How nice that you are feeling better, even if you probably still need some rehabilitation time. Unfortunately, healing such injuries requires one thing in particular - namely patience. We all never have enough of that... I hope that you feel much, much better soon - and until then I wish you another good healing time!
All the best, hugs and a happy week!

The one bird I do see in my garden is the robin. Your photos capture him beautifully..I still think that there is something going on.So few birds visit my feeders.
It's a disease or the local cat population! Good to have you back photoing .
