Hi Sonjia, This year has been a bit of a disaster for small birds near me. I havn't seen one for many months. Hope you are well. Mike.
Es un pájaro muy bonito, por aquí hay muchos. Besitos.
What a sweet, little thing.
a sweet little bird that looks a bit like our robin!!! interesting how it got its name!!!
It's a bird with which I am not familiar. Its plumage looks quite colourful and with the dark head, I am sure that I will recognise it if I spot it in this part of Sussex.
Great photos of a very pretty little bird!

Nice shots. Beautiful bird. I used to see them in Britain.
Great shots..Looks like our Robin ...a bit shaggy
I especially like the photo on the fence! They remind me a bit of our bluebirds and of our American robins.I've answered the questions about favorites, travel, personality, and faith on my blog...but still have to answer the ones about blogging, my life, and politics.
This is a lovely little visitor!
a sweet one. So fluffy I thought it to be a juvenile :)

Love the beautiful photography you do ~ great fences and love the little bird ~ Wishing you a Happy Weekend ~ ^_^
Stonechats are very charming birds that I see most often in Menorca during May. Just like your pictures, thay make themselves rather conspicuous by perching on fence posts or the tops of bushes. Like you say, even if we don't see them their "stone clicking" calls give them away.
Sweet photos...and your description of why they're named the stonechat makes it all the more charming. Love the colors.Sharing this post was much appreciated for us birders this week at I'd Rather B Birdin'....for that, I thank you.
Very beautiful and a fun name for a bird! You want to make a pet out of him. Hugs, Diane
