What a cute little mouse. I had one loose in the house last night that the cat couldn't seem to catch.

Querida Sonjia. Son tres fotos adorables. La primera foto es fabulosa, el pequeño ratón muestra sus cuatro patitas rosadas y sus ojos están muy atentos. ¡Enhorabuena y feliz comienzo de semana!

Wow, how did you manage to get such fantastic shots - but then you always amaze me! The Wood Mouse has to be our commonest mammal and yet we hardly ever see one.

Breathtaking said...

Joke
Thank you Joke:)I like the first one better than the others also.
It looks so defenceless and cuter than in the other photos.

Have a nice week.

Hi:)Strange that you should mention that you have had a mouse in your house, because I had one in my bedroom a few nights ago. They often find their way in when the wood logs are brought inside.I still haven't caught it,
but did manage to take a few photos!!!I may post them at a later date.

Thank you for visit:)

Sonia Aguiar
Thank you Sonia, how nice to hear from you:)I'm so pleased you like the photos of this little Wood Mouse. His whitish pinkish legs somehow make him look very appealing, especially in the first photo, which I also like the best.

Since returning from a two week vacation, both my husband and I have had flu, so it's taking me a long time to visit everyone, but I will be visiting you very soon:)

Jerry
Hello Jerry:)Chance, and being in the right place at the right time
made this a memorable moment for me.I must confess to lightening these images considerably before posting, as it was late in the evening when this lucky encounter took place.

See you soon:)

These animals are the only ones I haywire. I can not even look at them. They are animals that could disappear as only bring harm to our life: diseases and destruction of crops and foods. Chance to multiply the speed of light. kisses

Hi:) Depending on your point of view the Wood Mouse can be the most endearing, or the most feared
or hated rodent.
Although mice in general are everything you say they are, they do provide a vital food source for other carnivorous creatures, and usually don't live longer than 6-12months.

I am so pleased that you visited, especially since you have declared that even looking at a mouse is distastful.Thank you so much Brown eyes.Kisses.

Diary of a Church Mouse (extract)

But how annoying when one finds
That other mice with pagan minds
Come into church my food to share
Who have no proper business there.
Two field mice who have no desire
To be baptized,invade the choir.
A large and most unfriendly rat
Comes in to see what we are at.
He says he thinks there is no God
And yet he comes... it's rather odd.

This little wood mouse is absolutely cute and amusing. I love its ears and the way it held the red berry to its mouth to eat it. It must be famished. I wish I can give it a cuddle. Such great shots - you captured all its cuteness with such clarity. Congrats.
