I can't tell you how much I love butterflies...The one you captured is beautiful...Being new at photography, I want to ask you a question...are you getting these great shots with a special lens or is the cropping that makes them look so close....I ask because all of your photographs are incredible.....

Absolutely,I could watch them for hours,it's their fragility as well as
beauty that makes so appealing.

Welcome to my blog Maribel, and thankyou so much for your comment.

As you can probably tell I love butterflies too.
For practical purposes I use a NikonCoolpix 500 with a Nikon 36 x optical Nikkor zoom lens.
Sometimes I use my Sony DSC-HI with a 12 x optical zoom Sony lens, it depends on the circumstances.I do a little cropping but try not to use too much because of the grain effect.
The one vital thing you need is patience.Good
luck.:)

I particularly like the distinctive key-pad. There are not many iphones that look like butterflies.x

That was not my intention, but it's all in the eye of the beholder, some
people see flying blossoms, and some iphones!!:(

Twoje zdjęcie motyla jest śliczne, ale chciałabym już je zobaczyć w ogrodzie. Pozdrawiam. *** Your picture of a butterfly is beautiful, but I'd have to see them in the garden. Yours.

I could not agree more.We try to capture their beauty but nothing
compares to seeing the real thing in the outdoors.Roll on Spring!!:)
