I miss the robins from back home. A similar related species is found over here but it is a very shy summer only forest dweller.........

Thankyou dear,not many colourful birds come into my garden,but the robin with it's bright red breast is a lovely welcome little bird.

Yes it would be a pity for a bird to be in a cage,but you are more than welcome to visit me
whenever you want my dear.
I like your new photo:)

These are shy to as I live surrounded by conifer
trees in a very quiet place,but I entice them out with nuts,stay well back, usually indoors,
and occasionally manage a decent shot!!

What's this dull town to me?
Robin's not near.
He whom I wished to see,
Wished for to hear;
Where's all the joy and mirth
Made life a heaven on earth?
O! they're all fled with thee
