GARDEN FLOWERS and TWO BIRDS

On Saturday my Grandson Pedro arrived to spend a couple of months with me. We had a lovely weekend with Eva as well. It's such a pleasure to have Pedro staying with me and we have plenty of fun together. It's a good time to take a break from blogging for a while, so this will be my last post before we meet again in blog land. Rain has spoilt a lot of my garden flowers, yes we are still getting wet weather, but although my camellias and azaleas are past their best I took a couple of photos of each, as Pedro and I took a turn round the garden, and then to the hedge near the garage where the hawthorn is in full bloom in all it's glory. The hedge just looked like it was covered in snow. To finish a couple of birds I saw on Saturday.

I think that I took the photos a little too near to get the flowers in focus, but they are still pretty.

The pink weigelia have finished blooming but the white still have some flowers and new buds to open.

Most of my roses are under the porch and protected from the months of rain we have been  having.

THE EURASIAN JAY Garrulus Glandarius

Hi everyone, I was hesitant to make another post sharing the Eurasian Jay as I have shown so many of these beautiful birds before, but after much deliberation decided that I would share them with you, before all the leaves make it difficult to see them in the trees. A few leaves have already appeared so I hope you don't mind another series of Jay photos.
