Dear fellow bloggers due to my computer getting spoilt, I have been unable to blog or explain why, but now I am using a familiar computer which used to belong to my late husband, it isn't new, far from it, but it works better than mine used to do. It has taken such a long time to start blogging again because my late husband's computer was absolutely full, and it had important items of information which had to be sifted through, and I also had too many photos that hadn't been deleted. It was so frustrating because I missed you all so much and many thanks to those of you who stopped by just to say hello and wish me well. it was so nice of you to think of me and I am looking forward to visiting your much appreciated blogs. It really feels good to be starting a post today. I hope you enjoy these few bird images. The Coal Tit and Great Tit are birds I see more frequently, but the Great tit is so timid that it is extremely difficult to capture on camera, and whilst the Coal tit is usually most confiding, it is also beginning to exhibit the same kind of behaviour, so I haven't taken many photos of either bird.

What a happy start to my day, Sonjia, to see that you are back with us. The tits are lovely, and as soon as other species realize that you are blogging again and that their portrait will be disseminated around the world, they will all primp and pose and you will have scores of images to share with us. Your balcony, after all, is THE bird magnet in all of Portugal. Let’s hope that your husband’s old computer keeps on chugging away. Hugs and kisses - David
Dear Sonjia,
I have thought about you many times and have been worried that you might have been ill. It is very good to hear from you again. Computer problems are very frustrating to have, but it is very good that you can use your husband's old one. What beautiful pictures you show! The birds are doing very well on your balcony!
All the best to you! I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas!
Warm hugs from Marit
Dear Sonjia,
How nice that you are back.
Computer problems are not fun, I hope that you are doing well.
You have photographed the great tit and the black tit perfectly, my compliments.
I wish you a very nice Wednesday.
Greetings Irma
Hello Sonjia,
Welcome back! It is wonderful you can see these cute birds on your balcony. Both the Coal Tit and the Great Tit are lovely birds and are beautifully photographed. Take care, have a wonderful day!
Welcome back! It is good to read you again! You got some great shots too.
Birds among the trees are so elusive. Many are “flighty” and don’t stay still long enough after one locates them among the trees. It is so cold these days it isn’t conducive to waiting around for them.
Have a wonderful remainder of the week.
It would be interesting to come down there just to see the birds! So many cool and unique birds.
It's so nice to see you back on the blog, Sonija. I noticed your absence and hoped it was for something good, not bad. Computer issues are just wretched, aren't they? I do love all the birds you shared. You've had some good sightings!
Your bird photos are greatly missed
Glad you're here again and can blog.
Beautiful photos, the colors are breathtaking.
So lovely to see you blogging again.
Computer and technical issues are never good!
Your photographs are wonderful, I enjoyed seeing the beautiful birds.
Sending my good wishes.
All the best Jan
Both coal tits and great tits are very beautiful! I couldn't tell the difference between male and female great tits though.
Fantastic photos. Greetings.
So glad to see you back! It must have been tough going through everything on your late husband's computer, but I'm happy you're able to share these lovely bird photos now. The Coal Tit and Great Tit are such a treat to see – I can totally understand how tricky it must be to capture the shy Great Tit! Looking forward to seeing more birds as the season changes. Warm hugs!
Welcome back!
yes, I agree with David about the birds dressing up for you to show to us. love the first bird best of all but all of them are wonderful.. and so sweet. did not know about the computer problems, sorry I was not checking on you, I was off for days, then for a week and went through 3 hurricanes, so really had not even realized who was missing and who was not
That's okay Sandra, I missed you but hoped you weren't ill or something was wrong. Apparently it was, three hurricanes I did not know about it. It was pretty rough here too with violent storms, but nothing like you experienced. I'm glad you are safe.
Good to have you back with your wonderful tit pics.

Sonjia, Welcome back! It's wonderful to see you blogging again, and I admire your perseverance in getting everything sorted on your late husband's computer. Your bird photos are delightful! I think David nailed it, “Your balcony, after all, is THE bird magnet in all of Portugal.” All the best to you from Seattle! John
