your lizards are so much more colorful than ours are, we love to watch them and would like to see these. we saw our first black snake of the summer yesterday. Grey looks a lot like Bob's cat named Smokey.. you have so much beauty to watch from your balcony. I saw a half grown raccoon poke his head through a hole in the fence this morning after daylight, which is odd

What a great balcony to have so many nearby critters. We see outdoor cats and a few birds. Mostly squirrels!

If ever I come to Portugal, Sonjia, I want to make an advance reservation on your balcony. I expect that two or three hours a day will do it, at different intervals of course, so that I will be able to take note of the changing wildlife as the day advances. As part of this adventure it is understood that you will sit with me and we will rejoice in the birds together and revel in their beauty and their sheer approachability. A little glass of Port would be in order don't you think? Some fresh bread and fine cheese? I will be sure to bring a nice selection. What a fine time we will have! Hugs and kisses - David

Super photos of beautiful creatures, Sonjia, although I have reservations about mixing cats with wildlife.

Thank you, also, for calling them creatures and not 'critters' - a term that I absolutely hate. Creatures sound much more delightful than critters, which makes them sound like pests.

My very best wishes - stay safe - - - Richard

You have so much activity to watch from your balcony. My deck does not offer me nearly as much as yours. Although I do see a lot of black squirrels and the young ones are now out and running about in the trees.

Good afternoon from Japan; Wow, Such Beauties from your balcony♡♡♡ I How lucky you are or I wish I had such environment. Loved to see sweet colorful birds in your post. I really am feeling sad that the wide space with tree turned into solar panel. Wishing the only tree can be the resting place for birds p;-) And I truly appreciate your kindness for me as well♡♡♡

Hello Sonjia. You are blessed to have those reptiles on your balcony. You will know that such reptiles are very rare in the UK, even more so here in the North West of England where average temperatures are lower. And so nice to see the Firecrest again, a great bird to see in a garden, better still right outside a window.
