Garden Critters.

Inclement weather has meant that I haven't used my hide all year, but there is always something of interest going on in the garden, and these are just a few images I captured recently..

Through our lounge window

The squirrel was about to head down to the feeder, but stopped when he saw me.

Whenever he sees a squirrel, Pintas engages in his pointer stance .

I think they saw each other at the same time, and the sqirrel made angry chattering noises, a face off ensued, but finally realizing it was pointless( :)))  Pintas turned around and bounded off.

A field mouse that hubby rescued from the pool. Once in the water, they can't get out, so..

hubby has aquired the habit of looking in the pool evey day  and has rescued many critters this way.

I think this is a Serin!!! Captured on one of the few fine days we have had this year.

A blackbirds nest with four eggs.

Female Blackbird.

A  Robin,  a couple regularly visit the feeder.

Oh, how beautiful! I love squirrels. They are so quick and funny. Someday I will write a book about squirrels(I'm author). Nice: the small robin. We have the same here. And oh, poor, stupid mouse, I think he wanted to drink a little water and then he made an accidental fall. Fortunately you saved him death by drowning. When I see your photos, I think you live in Europe too?!

Have a nice Saterday.

So much beauty here! I love the squirrel, Pintas and everything else! We don't have squirrels like this in my area (Montreal). I only see the grey and black ones. Thank you so much for sharing, I so enjoy your gorgeous photos!

How lovely to have a hide in your garden. Your husband is to congratulated on checking the garden pond like he does, especially when he comes up with the goods like he does.

You are very lucky to have a hide. I take all my shots of birds through my kitchen window. Still I managed to capture a sparrow-hawk eating its prey e few days ago.

Both of your squirrels have so much more color than the gray squirrels we have here. And I'm glad you got that little mouse out of danger! Hugs!
