A huge sow was the focus of attention for these school children, who were on a supervised day out to the nature reserve on one of the days we visited. I think it is wonderful that schools provide this kind of education, and the pig seemed to enjoy the company

Hello Breathtaking,
Thank you for your comment on the photos of this beautiful sand lizards. sand lizards have always been very nice to see and photograph :-)
My husband had an accident. He was hit on his bicycle by a pickup truck (the driver had never seen my husband) and now has a complicated fracture. It will take a long time before he can walk normally again.
Cordial greetings.

How priceless! You have just made my day with your lovely photos. I love pigs! Thank you so much for sharing. :)
My that is a pretty large Sow behind that fence. I think it's fun to that kids get to experience things like that.
What a beautiful creature! It is great to see an animal so healthy and hopeful not slated for the dinner table. I have seen pigs allowed to thrive and when that happens they are as intelligent and some possibly even more intelligent than pet dogs.
A good experience for the children and a good day for the sow. The sow is in the spotlight.
Hello. Handsome pig. Good evening to you.
Se ve hermosa. Un beso.
So charming! ;))
Fenced in but enjoying the attention. Super shots.
What a cute pig! My grandkids would love this.
Top class porker!
Wow! That's some pig.
NOw he's a big boy. Great shots. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
The sow is a beauty. When I was young, mom used to rear pigs. I loved playing with them. Most kids don't get the chance to see a live pig. Have a great weekend!
Hello, I just love this cute sow. He is a big one! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!
Wonderful post Sonjia! My cousin just bought a pig....poor thing walks around with pretty outfits....lol. She's trained and loves to stay indoors ....yikes! Enjoy this beautiful weather!!!
Any exposure that children get to nature is beneficial. So many urban kids are totally removed from the natural world.
Hi -
Thank you for visiting me today.
I am delete gated to see the beautiful Sow and the proper use of the word 'Sow', instead of just Pug :)
Have a Happy Weekend!
Peace :)
Hi Y'all!
She seems quite pleased with the attention she is receiving from the children.
Y'all come on by,
Hawk aka BrownDog
i am amazed at how clean that "pig pen" is...and even the pig. what a cutie, puttee!!!
Wonderful photos! It was a very cute pig :)
A handsome pig. I was at a children's birthday party today and they had a petting zoo with several of these lovely pigs. They are so much fun. Enjoyed your post, thank you :)
she looks rather nice. And it is a good thing for children to see.
She seems curious. Many kids nowadays have never seen pigs or cows.
