Male Warbler

The Male Blackcap.

It had just stopped raining. I looked out of my bedroom window, and there he was on my balcony. I held my breath in case he flew away whilst I went to get my camera. Joy of joys, he was still there, click click, and he was gone.

Dear Sonija stopping you is like walking in the earthly paradise! You also found bugs with red stripes really nice ... and the park with fungi over the trees is truly magnificent.
A nice walk, beautiful colors and the excitement of looking through the lens together .... Here it is really cold, a severe cold which makes it nice to stay home and paint. Hugs and kisses,Rita

Wonderful shots of my favorite 'Sylvia' warblers.

In past winters one has occasionally visited our garden but I'll definitely be listening out for his song in the Spring.

Lovely shots. I find Blackcaps very difficult to photograph as they skulk and hide through the trees and bushes.
