Fences in the Park

Fisherman by the river.

Ducks usually swim in the river, but on the day I took the photo, there were none in sight.

The café overlooks the river, and when we come here with Mel, we sit here.

A little fence over a pond.

Different side!

A pidgeon looking rather like a wise owl.

I am fascinated by all the fungi on the tree trunks.

Can't think it can be anything else!

And the ferns growing from old misshapen trees

These ferns are growing from the top branches.

The view from the other side of the bridge. You can't see much, but perhaps you can see two metal seats, which are dotted all over the park, and are really appreciated.

GOOD FENCES

Wonderful picture and the pidgeon transformed to an owl is my favourtie.
The fungi up here have high hats of snow.

This is a beautiful series of photos, and all so clear and well defined. They remind me that I must try harder.

Have a nice day.

Love the pigeon's "wise owl" expression! He does do a good imitation (for a pigeon)! The first photo is so green it's gorgeous! This time of year I don't see nearly enough of that color.

That shot of the fisherman on the banks is stunning! (Thank you for visiting my blog, for your kind comments and for choosing to be a follower - hoping my posts won't disappoint!) I enjoyed reading the background to your interest in photography; it reminds me of the saying "when one door closes, another opens". Enjoy!!
