The Treecreeper likes a mixture of nuts dried fruit and cake
The Treecreeper breeds fairly commonly in older woodlands and established gardens and parks. In S Europe it prefers coniferous woods at higher altitudes.

These are lovely captures. I always find Treecreepers very difficult to get on camera but you have done wonderfully well :-) Is it in your garden? I would love to have one in mine!

You are absolutely right they are rather difficult to photograph.I have been trying for a long time to get both the Treecreeper and the Blackcap on camera.These were taken in my garden, but not all on the same day. As we live in woodland it's difficult to find it's nest, but fortunately it comes regularly to the feeders and bird table.

Giga Yes he is equiped with a superb beak capable of digging out insects from tree trunks and yet because it is so finely and delicately curved, the Treecreeper looks in perfect proportion. At least to me:=) Hugs.
They are lovely little birds, and most welcome on my patch also. I love to see them creeping up the bird table, and sometimes eating from underneath the table top:)

Cute little guy. Reminds me a bit of the rock wren that hangs our by my back door.

The rock wren has a shorter beak but otherwise it does resemble the tree creeper. I wish I had a rock wren hanging out by my back door:=)
