Down at the pond.

Down at the pond, I photographed this friendly frog, who came to say hello by swimming up

close to me, and then circled around and swam in the opposite direction. I wonder if he recognized

me as the lady with the camera, who doesn't mean any harm, and just likes to take photos!

Byeee froggie, thank you for being so friendly

On another day his cousins were equally obliging, and didn't move as I clicked away...

and I dare say enjoying the cleaner water after the rain we had last week.

Fully grown this tiny critter will eventually be a  recognizable newt.

Seen overhead at the pond a buzzard was hovering,

Another poor shot of a buzzard, but I have included it to also share the terrain with you.

To finish my post yet another buzzard, ..I will open a bottle of champagne and celebrate when I get a decent shot of these wonderful birds! That reminds me, time for a gin and tonic!:)) See you!

Trees and Florest Floor.

These are the Liquidamber trees I see when I open the front door.

If I'm lucky I see a thrush.

One of the many toadstools I encounter on my walks.

Maple tree leaves, also on our driveway.

This looks like the Judas Ear

Hawthorn berries casscading over the garage.

A robin

A brown squirrel for a change,as I usually favour the really red looking ones.
and a red squirrel, this time with no tufts on the ears.

I love these Christmas tree decoration look alike seed cases.

The pretty but poisenous
