Wisteria Gone Wild

On our travels, hubby and I came across this forlorn looking gate which clearly hadn't been opened for a while.

but it was the Wisteria fence that first caught my attention.

Just had to share this with you. and am linking it to Good Fences.

OOO...isn't this so beautiful. I love gates...I think we all do. And, of course, the beautiful vine is breathtaking....

The vine makes this gate as good as locked. ;)) I love wisteria!

The wisteria flowers are so magnificent, and lovely with the cherry blossoms. I am in awe of wisteria myself, we had some planted on our deck by the PO and I realized it was a house eater. It had to go. But it keeps coming back.

How gorgeous! I've always loved wisteria, but I know they are terribly invasive!

Pity that port. Nature takes him in his growth :-) Purple rain is really wonderful to see.
