Juvenile Blackbird

The common Blackbird is one of my favourite birds. I love their song, their shiny plumage, and bright eyes, and the way they run, makes me smile.:)

What a beautiful photo's Sonijia. I can't wait till they start to sing again. Always a signal for me that spring is on it's way.

I agree, Sonjia. The bird is my favorite too. His lovely singing, often early in the morning. I love it. Great series. Thanks for your nice and kind comment on my blog. I hope your back problems have become less in the last months. Greetings from the rainy and stormy Netherlands, Joke

Hi Sonjia!

Quite a singer the black bird. And an early riser too; to usher in the new day with its songs - when it is still so far away...

Lovely shots, as usual

A hug
Vitor

I didn't know their feathers were so light in color. Good to know.
